Work and Education
I am a senior member of the technical staff at Sandia National Laoratories. My official title at Sandia is R&D S&E Cybersecurtiy. Before joining Sandia I was a visiting assistant professor of computer science at The Evergreen State College. I taught math systems while at Evergreen. I graduated with a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics at North Carolina State University. While at NC State my research work was in the area of Symbolic Computation. My Ph.D. advisor was Dr. Erich Kaltofen. I did my undergraduate work in Mathematics and Computer Science at the The City University of New York. The majority of my course work was done at Medgar Evers College. I grew up in Guyana and spent the first 19 years of my life there. I spent my high school year at Queens College
Spare Time
Outside of work I spend some time on web development. The work in this area is mostly self taught. I worked with a cousin and built lotto.stats.gy. This is the first of many projects we intend to work on. We were learning as we were building and proud of the end result. We intend to use our knowledge to build web solutions that will have an impact in Guyana and enhance the way many things are done.
I currently reside in New Mexico. New Mexico is a beautiful state and I enjoy exploring it. Since moving to New Mexico:
